Disclaimer

Coconut Charcoal Export is an independent, Bali-based sourcing and brokerage desk for Indonesian coconut charcoal briquettes. We are not a manufacturer, we own no factory, and nothing published here is financial, legal, or tax advice. All prices are date-stamped as of 2026 and subject to change; only a written quotation binds either party.

This page explains, in plain language, what this website is, what it is not, how we handle your personal data under Indonesian and European law, and where our responsibility to you starts and ends. It also explains our single contact channel: the enquiry form. We publish no the contact form, no direct email address, and no phone line anywhere on this site — one route in, every message logged, quote requests answered within 24 business hours. Reading this page takes about five minutes. If anything is unclear, ask through the form before you commit to anything.

Who Actually Operates This Website?

Coconut Charcoal Export is a sourcing and brokerage brand operated by Coconut Charcoal Export, a Bali-based concierge desk, and is part of Juara Holding Group, an Indonesian group founded in 2015. The brand itself is an editorial and brokerage project — it did not exist in 2015, and we make no claim that it did.

Indonesia accounts for the dominant share of global coconut charcoal briquette shipments as of 2026, and that concentration is exactly why a verification desk is useful: hundreds of producers, uneven quality, and buyers sitting an ocean away. Our role is to sit between the two — reviewing specifications, checking Certificates of Analysis, and routing serious buyers to vetted licensed partners.

We are a broker and verification desk, not a producer:

  • We do not own kilns, briquette presses, drying rooms, or warehouses.
  • Production, laboratory testing, and export handling are arranged via vetted licensed partners — Indonesian producers, accredited laboratories, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Where a factory, brand, or laboratory is named editorially on this site, that mention is informational. It is not an affiliation, endorsement, or supply agreement unless we state one in writing.
This site is This site is not
An independent brokerage and sourcing desk based in Bali A manufacturer or factory-owned storefront
A publisher of date-stamped market pricing and grading data A live price feed or a binding offer
A verification layer that reviews producer COAs and specifications A laboratory that runs its own tests
A route to vetted licensed Indonesian export partners A licensed financial, legal, or tax adviser

What Do the Published Prices Actually Mean?

Every figure on this site is indicative, date-stamped, and subject to change. These are the bands we publish, all as of 2026 and all FOB Indonesian port:

Grade Indicative FOB price (as of 2026)
Premium shisha grade (ash at or below 2.5%) USD 1,250–1,500 per MT
Standard shisha grade USD 1,000–1,250 per MT
BBQ coconut-hardwood blend USD 700–1,000 per MT
Private-label packaging adds up to USD 250 per MT

Site-wide MOQ is one 20-foot container, roughly 17.5–18 MT.

None of these numbers is an offer. Exchange rates move, shell supply is seasonal, and ocean freight reprices weekly. Only a written quotation, issued to you by name and confirmed by our desk, binds either party. If a number on this site and a number in your quotation ever disagree, the quotation governs.

What Does a COA Shown on This Site Represent?

A Certificate of Analysis referenced or displayed here is a per-batch laboratory result issued by an Indonesian-accredited laboratory engaged by the producer — covering ash, moisture, calorific value, fixed carbon, volatile matter, and burn time, standard practice as of 2026.

Three things follow from that:

  1. COAs describe the tested batch, not your future shipment. Your own lot receives its own COA before loading.
  2. We review COAs; we do not produce them. Check the test date and the laboratory stamp on any COA you receive, and re-test independently if your market requires it.
  3. Specifications are producer claims until verified. Where we quote producer specifications, we attribute them as such in the text.

Is Anything Here Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice?

No. Nothing on coconutcharcoalexport.com — pricing pages, grading guides, logistics articles, FAQ answers, or private correspondence from our desk — constitutes financial, investment, legal, customs, or tax advice. We are not licensed advisers in any jurisdiction, and we do not guarantee margins, resale prices, transit times, duty rates, or business outcomes of any kind.

Import rules differ by country and change without notice. Before ordering, verify HS classification (coconut charcoal briquettes ship under HS 4402.90), duty rates, labelling rules, and any fumigation or food-contact requirements with your own local customs broker or trade counsel. That step is your responsibility, not ours, and no statement on this site replaces it.

Why Is the Enquiry Form Our Only Contact Channel?

Because a single, logged channel protects both sides. The Indonesian charcoal trade attracts impersonators — fake suppliers trading on stolen photos, cloned company names, and bank details swapped mid-negotiation are a documented fraud pattern in this niche. We cut that risk down by publishing no the contact form, no direct email address, and no phone line on this website. One form, one thread, one accountable desk.

Three practical consequences follow:

  1. Every message you send arrives through the form, is timestamped, and reaches a person on the operating desk — nothing disappears into an unmonitored inbox.
  2. If anyone contacts you by the contact form, email, or phone claiming to represent Coconut Charcoal Export before you have submitted a form and received a written reply referencing your enquiry, treat the approach as suspect and verify it through the form.
  3. Bank details for any transaction appear only inside a written quotation that references your named enquiry — never in a chat message, never in an unsolicited email.

Quote requests are answered within 24 business hours. All other messages, including data-protection requests, are answered in writing through the same thread.

How Do We Handle Your Personal Data Under UU PDP and GDPR?

We collect personal data one way: you type it into our enquiry form. We do not buy lists, scrape contacts, or run third-party advertising trackers on form pages.

As an Indonesian-operated website, we process personal data under Indonesia’s Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP), which took full effect in October 2024. Because many of our buyers sit in the EU, we also apply GDPR-aware handling to data from European visitors, even where UU PDP alone would govern.

What that means in practice:

Your right Under UU PDP (Law 27/2022) Under GDPR (EU visitors)
Know what we hold Yes — request a copy of your enquiry data Yes — subject access request
Correct it Yes Yes
Delete it Yes — we erase enquiry records on request Yes — right to erasure
Withdraw consent Yes, at any time Yes, at any time
Object to marketing We send none unless you ask for updates Same

We use your enquiry data for exactly one purpose: answering your enquiry and preparing your quotation. Your details are shared only with the vetted partners needed to price your shipment — never sold, never rented. Records of closed enquiries are retained only as long as Indonesian tax and export-documentation rules require.

To exercise any right above, use the enquiry form and title your message “Data request”. The desk will confirm in writing, through the same thread, what was done and when.

Where Does Our Liability End?

To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, Coconut Charcoal Export and its operator accept no liability for:

  • decisions made on the basis of indicative pricing, grading tables, or market commentary published here;
  • losses caused by delays, detentions, or rejections at destination ports, customs decisions, or changes in import regulation;
  • the acts or omissions of third parties we introduce — producers, laboratories, carriers, insurers — whose services are contracted under their own terms;
  • content on external websites we link to, which we do not control;
  • interruptions, errors, or omissions on this website itself.

This does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we broker a transaction, your commercial protections live in the written sales contract, the COA for your lot, the inspection terms you negotiate, and your cargo insurance — not in this website’s editorial content. We encourage every buyer to inspect before shipment (Benoa serves Bali-side buyer inspection visits), test independently, and insure the cargo.

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We may update this page at any time; the version published at the moment you use the site is the one that applies.

How Do You Contact Us About This Disclaimer?

Use the enquiry form on this site — it is our only contact route, deliberately, for the anti-fraud reasons set out above, and every message reaches a person on the operating desk. Quote requests receive a reply within 24 business hours. For data-protection matters, title your message “Data request”; for questions about this page, title it “Disclaimer question”. Every completed data action is confirmed to you in writing through the same enquiry thread, so you hold a dated record of what was requested and what was done.
